Privacy policy
Updated: 13.10.2026
I handle your data with the same care as your watches: as little as possible, and only to answer you. This page follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
1. Controller
Nephtali Birchler, L’Établi du Temps, Pérolles d’en Haut 13, 1752 Villars-sur-Glâne, Switzerland. nephta2v@gmail.com, +41 78 335 57 14.
2. Data processed
- Estimate form: type, brand, model and condition of the watch, your choices (parts, option, warranty), your photos, your name, phone and email.
- Appointment request: preferred place, day and time, town, watch, your name, phone, email and message.
- Direct contact: what you send me by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Server logs: IP address, date, page requested and browser, kept by the host for the website’s security, for a limited time.
3. Purpose
To answer your request, prepare the estimate, arrange the appointment, repair and return your watch, and keep the accounts. Your data is never used for advertising and is never sold or rented.
4. No cookies, no tracking
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. Your browser only keeps your display choice (day or night) and, during your visit, the watch chosen in the catalogue. This stays on your device. Fonts and 3D animations are hosted on the website itself: nothing is loaded from third parties.
5. Recipients
- Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, hosts the website and routes the emails. The data stays in Switzerland.
- Google (Gmail): requests sent from the website arrive in my Gmail inbox. Google may process this data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to write to me on WhatsApp. Its own rules apply, and data may be processed in the United States.
- Google Maps, only if you click “Directions”.
- Parts suppliers: when a part must be ordered, I pass on the watch reference, never your contact details.
6. Retention
A request that goes no further is deleted after twelve months. Repair data is kept during the warranty, then deleted. Invoices are kept for ten years, as commercial law requires.
7. Your rights
At any time you can ask which data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Just write to nephta2v@gmail.com. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern.
8. Security
The website is encrypted (HTTPS). The forms are protected against automated submissions. Photos are not stored on the website: they leave directly with the email.
9. Changes
This page may change, for example when the client area opens. The online version applies.
