I took my first watch apart at fourteen, to understand what kept it alive.
I grew up surrounded by old things: my father and my uncles work with antique furniture and period objects. My first watches came at twelve, and they never left me.
I learned the trade in Biel/Bienne, where I earned my Swiss federal certificate as a watchmaker-repairer. During the apprenticeship I discovered after-sales service and the full service: taking apart, cleaning, oiling, regulating, until the watch runs true again.
Today I focus mostly on older watches: chronographs, pocket watches and clocks. I look for period parts, I respect the patina, and every watch goes on the timegrapher before it comes back to you.
I work at the Horlogerie du Lac shop in Morges and in my workshop near Fribourg. One watch at a time, with a free quote before I start.
